Welcome to the World of Flamingos

Our setting in Lake Nakuru National Park is one of the best in Kenya, and all our luxury tented camps are perched on the cliffside to enjoy views of the Rift Valley soda lake, Lake Nakuru. Most famous for its flamboyance of flamingos lured to this lake, you could not be more ideally situated.

Lake Nakuru National Park is in central Kenya on the floor of the Great Rift Valley, about two and a half hours’ drive from the capital of Nairobi. However, when staying at The Cliff, you can skip the bumpy road transfer and opt for a fly-in charter flight or helicopter transfer if arranged in advance.

Wondrous Wildlife and World Heritage Site

However, it's not all about the flamingos, although they truly are something spectacular to behold. You can admire over 400 other feathery creatures, making this one of the best birdwatching destinations in Kenya and one of the most visited parks. It's also home to some endangered species like the over 100 rhinos, the Rothschild giraffe, and other wildlife species. You're among some of nature's greatest species and landscapes at Lake Nakuru National Park. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site and RAMSAR site, it's a protected and celebrated area in East Africa. Because we respect the land, not one tree was felled during construction, and the camp was built in existing open space to become one with the cliffside it's perched on.
