An Elevated Experience

Entim Private sits inside the Masai Mara, set back from the river along a natural spring with the open plains stretching out beyond. The camp looks out across the savannah, with the main area built on a wide wooden deck giving onto uninterrupted views. A lounge, dining area, fire pit, and bar are all positioned to take in the same sweep of country. With twenty guests at full capacity, the camp leans toward the more private end of what the Mara has to offer, and the days move at a slower pace because of it.

The Suites

Entim Private has eight tented suites in total, including one family suite with king and twin bed configurations. The suites are spacious and well-appointed, with a generous sitting area inside, ensuite bathrooms, and the option of king or twin beds. Yoga mats and blocks are provided in every tent for guests who want to use the space for more than sleeping. Where Entim Main keeps to the traditional bush camp feel, Entim Private leans modern and elevated, with cleaner lines and a contemporary finish to the interiors. Each suite is raised on its own deck with two outlooks: one across the open Mara plains, the other into the bush behind, where wildlife passes through.

Where The Day Slows

The afternoon hours at Entim Private are built around the pool. Set on its own elevated deck with views across the plains, surrounded by loungers and shaded by parasols, it’s the natural place of choice for relaxing between game drives. A full bar is on hand. The Entim Spa offers treatments by appointment, and the main deck stays open through the day for reading, drinks, or watching the savannah change as the light shifts. The entire camp is designed for time spent in it, not only the nights between drives.

Hot Air Balloon

Rise with the sun on a hot air balloon safari over the Masai Mara. Drift across the open plains as the herds wake and the light changes, followed by a champagne breakfast on the savannah. Available at Wilder's Masai Mara properties.

Great Migration

Watch the Great Migration from the banks of the Mara River at Wilder's Masai Mara camps. Each year between July and October, more than a million wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle move north from the Serengeti, with the river crossings the most dramatic moment of one of Earth's greatest wildlife events.
