Paradise Plains

A New Vision
For Old World

Paradise Is A Place

Welcome to Paradise Plains, the newest addition to the Wilder portfolio. Set in the Musiara region of the Masai Mara, where the open plains meet the Mara River, the camp draws on the romance of the old safari era and reframes it for the present. Antique furniture and copper baths sit alongside contemporary detail. A curated library, a well-stocked wine cellar, and careful attention to comfort run through every part of camp. Nine suites, designed to feel private and slow, look out over a landscape where elephants graze, the Marsh Pride moves through the long grass, and the air carries the sound of hippos at dusk.

The Suites

Each suite at Paradise Plains is laid out across a luxurious private viewing deck with uninterrupted views of the savannah. The Sleeper sits front and centre with a king-size bed and ensuite bathroom, joined by two annexes. The Bath holds a second bathroom with a copper tub set to face the wild. The Lounge offers space for reading, drinking coffee, or watching the day move across the grasslands. Antique furniture, kilims, linen, and bespoke pieces give each suite the feel of an older safari era, while Smeg coffee machines, Dyson hair dryers, and modern finishes keep the comfort current. Eight luxury suites accommodate couples or solo travellers. One family suite, with two interconnected bedrooms, is designed for families travelling together.

Explore & Restore

Wellness at Paradise Plains lives in the small choices of the day. A morning on the yoga deck above the river. A walk along the 500-metre skywalk as the light shifts. Time in the gym, or a treatment at the spa designed around its setting. The kitchen, led by Head Chef Rian, follows the same approach: cold-pressed health shots in the morning, fresh produce from the garden, and a five-course tasting menu in the evening.
