We’ve partnered with the Sateo Foundation to open the Molibany school. Furthermore, through Pack for a Purpose, our guests have generously donated books and equipment of over $40,000. Thank you to every guest for giving back to the world when they travel to see its wonders.

Partnering with change makers

Peter Balunek is passionate about educating the world on the plight of Africa’s wildlife. After first visiting Kenya and becoming fond of photographing elephants, he was heartbroken when he learned about the death of one of Kenya’s iconic tuskers, Satao. As a result, he founded Peter Wildlife Safaris to bring guests to Africa and offer first-hand education on the challenges Africa’s wildlife faces, from poaching to loss of habitat and human/animal conflict. Peter and his guests often stay at Entim Camp. We’ve also supported fund-raising projects like Margot Raggett’s “Remembering Wildlife” book series.

Pack for a Purpose

We’ve teamed up with the Pack for a Purpose initiative, which encourages all guests visiting Africa to reserve a small amount of luggage space for supplies desperately needed by community projects. From general school supplies, reference materials, wall charts and text or reading books to educational games and tots, sports and outdoor activity products, clothing and shoes. "Absolutely love Entim. This was our second visit to Entim and it was as wonderful as ever. Entim is beautifully set up and intimate. It's luxurious without being pretensious. There's a lovely warmth and the view overlooking the Mara River is stunning. The staff are absolutely lovely and food is great. Our driver and guide Joseph is the best!! Will be back!!"

"I don’t know how to describe my experience in this place… Every word seems to be too weak. We were in few really good hotels in Kenya, but this place is unique. Everything is on top: tents, interior, location and view on Mara River, but what makes this hotel special is … people. Service was incredible, James and Mary in the dining area makes our stay the best experience ever. All of the staff were super helpful, kind and have good sense of humor. David - the manager, really took care of us from the first minutes we got there. Ben - one of the Masai guards, showed us the area of the camp and gave us a lot of interesting stories about Masai and animals lives. Can’t recommend more!"

"Everything is very professional, clean, comfortable and friendly. The food was very good, better than the bigger lodges. As a serious photographer we had our breakfasts in the field and the spread was the best we had at any lodge/camp in Kenya. This was my second stay at Entim Camp, and I plan to be back with another group of photographers. The location is great for wildlife - we actually saw a black rhino from the lodge deck. It is also close to a great area for sunrise photos."

This review is for both Entim and Lerai safari camp. Nadine, Mandela from Lerai and Entim camp managers are simple the best! I have decided to stay with them for a special occasion and they have exceeded my expectations! These camps are one of the best in mara! They take service to a whole different level! Great Job guys! This team will go above and beyond to make sure your visit is memorable. Horseback safari with Nadine is a must!
