For a truly special experience, why not relax in complete harmony with nature? Treat yourself to a bubble bath while gazing across the plains. Our bush bath can be placed on your veranda or at a chosen location in the conservancy. Filled with natural oils and frothy bubbles, the bath rinses off the dust and soothes sun-dry skin. Lay your head back and let your eyes wander across the plains. You’re likely to see zebra passing by, or giraffe pausing to nibble on the tops of the trees. Small birds will flit past while raptors soar high in the sky. And for that little something extra, we can provide a chilled bottle of wine or champagne for you to sip while you soak.

A walk gives you the chance to slow down and spend time with the smaller wildlife. Stretch out your legs, stroll through the conservancy and let our resident naturalist introduce you to the wonders of the bush. Deep in the grasses, field mice dart about and troops of mongoose bound in rhythm. Stop to look at a termite mound and listen to our expert tell you the story of their intricate hierarchical system. Pause beneath a bird’s nest to watch the parents dart in and out feeding their young. Watch a weaver bird weaving his precarious dangling home. There’s so much to see here when we take the time to wait and watch.

There’s something extraordinary about Mara skies. This constantly changing arc is sometimes streaked with clouds, sometimes glimmering with mist, sometimes dazzling blue. And the best time of all is when the sun sinks towards the horizon and the sky blushes pink. At this time, get off your horse or step out of your car and enjoy Africa’s famed tradition: the sundowner. Our team of dedicated staff will pick a site with a view and set up a bar in the bush. Relax on a safari chair, gin and tonic in your hand, while the sky performs its nightly miracle. When all the shades of pink have seeped from the sky, return to camp for dinner.

What could be lovelier after a day cantering across the conservancy than a relaxing and rejuvenating massage. Our trained and experienced masseuse is on hand to relieve muscles that are weary from a day of riding across the plains. Relax on our professional massage bed, close your eyes, and let our masseuse soothe your skin and release any tension. We use essential oils and gentle pressure to leave you feeling fresh and invigorated, ready for whatever excitement the next day brings.

Getting up for a horse ride or game drive at dawn, then watching the conservancy’s many wildlife species undergo their morning routines, makes a person hungry! What could be nicer than pausing in a glade, shaded from the sun by a giant acacia, and enjoying breakfast in the bush. Our team pull out all the stops, serving freshly brewed coffee, home baked bread and cooking your eggs the way you like them. Surrounded by the sights and sounds of the bush, everything tastes even more delicious. After a hearty breakfast you’ll be raring to go again, ready to ride or drive gently back towards camp.

Treat yourself to the experience of a lifetime. Soaring over the savannah in a balloon is a feeling like none other. Start the day at dawn, rising into barely lit sky, then float over the animals as they prepare for the day. Letting the wind take you where it will, look down on herds of wildebeest grazing, a topi posing on an anthill or an elephant scratching against a tree. You might be lucky enough to spot a lion surveying his territory or a family of cheetahs sunning themselves. When the flight comes to an end, land at a scenic spot and celebrate with the legendary champagne breakfast.
